Ways to sneakily hydrate

One of the main rules of nutrition is to hydrate. I know it, you know it. But, I have to admit that I sometimes don't respect this rule and end up realizing by the end of the day how I just forgot to drink water. Later on, I end up trying to fix the damage and I chug 1.5L of water in 1 sitting.

So, whenever I know there are days where I may just be flaky when it comes to hydration, I try to balance it out with ways that would help, especially when I feel really dehydrated.

Here are a few tips you can keep in mind:

  1. You can limit your coffee intake.

  2. You can limit your tea intake.

  3. You can limit your salt intake.

  4. You can drink/eat watermelon.

  5. You can snack on cucumbers.

  6. You can snack on celery.

  7. You can flavor your water with a bit of lemon or fruit to give it a "kick".

When you live in a warm country like I do, where AC is mandatory, the main thing that you need to keep in mind is how easy it is to feel tired and dehyrated, and to realize that there are additional ways to hydrate and keep on glowing.
