Spilling the beautea with Singkepe

Sometimes I really love Social Media. You get to stumble upon amazing accounts and interact with people from all over the world.

I've had the chance to spill the beautea with the beautiful Singkepe, who's a Reiki healer between Mexico and Dubai.

I honestly can't remember how I even stumbled upon her Instagram, but I'm very glad I did! I was even so honored and really excited when I found out that she follows Pumpkin House!

I really encourage you to follow her - her content is great! For me, she's all about keeping it real, and we need more of this online. She gives you an insight on her routine, she posts affirmations, she also posts a lot of advice to become the best version of yourself.

What does Self Care mean to you? What’s the area that you focus on the most?

Self care for me means taking care of my mind, body and soul. Ensuring that I am in alignment and well connected to my self. Nowadays I definitely take a more balanced approach between all three.

Beauty related question: what is the one that you can never go on without?

Oh my goodness haha, so I would say water. I always ensure I drink enough water on a daily basis. We are made up of around 60-70% water and staying hydrated is not only good for you internally, but externally in terms of your skin. Hydrate for that glowy skin bb!

Health related question: what’s your morning routine to start a good day?

Morning routine! I absolutely adore my morning routine and I think that’s the key to maintaining a consistent morning routine. You have to love it and look forward to it.

5AM - Wake up, meditate for an hour (occasionally include self-reiki).

6AM - Catch up on emails/DMs/work/study.

7-715AM - Cycle to the gym for stretching which is always a ROMWOD routine.

8AM - I start my workout which consists of weights and body weight exercises.

8.45-9AM - Cycle to a local cafe for coffee, breakfast and green juice.

How do you end your night on a good note? What’s your nighttime routine?

I definitely need to get better at my nighttime routine. I wake up so early, so I’m generally in bed pretty early. I have dinner between 4-6PM which I find helps aid in better sleep, and eating dinner earlier starts the digestion process earlier, meaning my body conserves more energy to use elsewhere throughout my energetic system throughout the night (aiding in healing, repair).

Regarding self care, beauty and health, what would you have told your younger self?

Regarding self-care, beauty and health. I would tell my younger self to focus on what’s going on inside. Focus on being mindful and truly connecting to oneself. The benefits of living from an authentic place and in alignment with your higher self will automatically create a positive and beneficial domino effect throughout every aspect of your life.
